±1±: Best Buy A few things, the bed is NOT difficult to put together if you have ever assembled other furniture items. It CAN be assembled by ONE person, just use a little ingenuity and put bed on it's side and then attach the two main side rails. Next, lift it up on it's edge and put the rest together. Lifting off edge may require help since it's heavy, but I did this myself - however I'm a large fairly strong man (6'3 295lbs).

I did make the same mistake as someone else on another site mentioned. I put the bed base (the part that the mattress goes on) in backwards. Just make sure the side with 3 holes goes to the back, it's latter needed to attach the shelves.

Other than that it just takes some time, about 2 hours and that was fixing my mistake. Otherwise about 1 to 1:30 hours.

Note: Use a cordless drill it will save HUGE time when bolting together. Just cut the supplied alien wrench L shape off then insert the straight piece in to drill - SAVES SO MUCH TIME. I do this all the time now when I get stuff that requires alien wrench bolts for assembly.
