From my point of view, this bed is fantastic because of the efficient use of space. From my daughter's perspective, it is so cool she was telling her friends at school about it before I was even finished putting it together. The shipping took longer than I was hoping so my husband left for a deployment before it got here. I was a little worried after reading the other review but I had no problems putting it together by myself. Carrying it upstairs by myself sucked a little bit, but at least it is very sturdy. Also, the ability to switch out the color plates is fantastic and makes it easier to match different color schemes.
